The voice has a fundamental role in communication and human relationships. To have a good voice, you need good vocal health and good vocal health means having a clear, clean voice, emitted effortlessly and pleasant to the listener.


 

Some vocal habits of the singer can be incompatible with his vocal well-being, damage the laryngeal tissues and produce an altered voice quality. Among the harmful habits is smoking, alcohol, pollution, drugs, medications, inadequate food, incorrect clothing, in addition to habits of the vocal behaviour itself such as clearing, coughing, and screaming.
